1) I-135/U.S. 54/400 (Kellogg) Interchange -- Phase 2 starts Monday, March 15
- EB Kellogg bridge over Hydraulic St. should open Friday, March 12.
- Hydraulic Street under Kellogg is CLOSED to all southbound traffic (City of Wichita project just south of Kellogg). Northbound traffic is open (one lane under the bridge).
- Bridge deck repairs on Mt. Vernon St. over I-135 are nearly finished and all lanes should be open soon.
- Bridge deck repairs on Lincoln St. over I-135 started on January 11. WB Lincoln traffic will be restricted to one lane of 10' width.
- Ramp from Lincoln to NB I-135 will close Monday, March 15.
- Bridge deck repairs on Harry St. over I-135 have begun. One lane for each direction
- Ramps from I-135 to Kellogg will be CLOSED for reconstruction and expansion of the ramps plus bridge deck repairs on the ramp bridges (until October).
2) I-135 & 47th St. South
- NO LEFT TURNS allowed at 47th & Broadway. Detours are marked for WB 47th St. traffic, SB Broadway traffic, and NB 47th St. traffic wanting to continue in the direction a left turn would take them.
- A detour is marked for tractor/trailer rigs (semis) traveling NB Broadway (U.S. 81) to EB 47th St. (also U.S. 81). The tight alignment at the intersection does not allow room for large trucks to make this turn. The detour is NB Broadway west onto 48th St., north on Water St. then east on 47th St.
- Demolition of the south half of the 47th St. bridge over I-135 is planned for April -- after the (expanded) SB I-135 to WB 47th St. ramp is completed.
- Traffic east of I-135 on 47th St. (to Broadway) is two lanes in each direction until week of march 22 when it will be reduced to one lane in each direction (east of I-135 only).
3) Replacement of the bridge over Chisholm Creek on N. Broadway (between 49th & 50th streets) in Park City will begin March 15. The old bridge will be removed so Broadway will be CLOSED at the bridge. The bridge is between I-235 and 53rd St. North.
