A two-mile-wide corridor in Leavenworth County, beginning at the interchange of K-7 and US-24/40, continuing west through Basehor and Tonganoxie, and ending one mile south of Tonganoxie at the junction of County Road 1 and US-24/40.

Project Description
The US-24/40 Corridor Study will develop a 30-year corridor master plan for current and future land use and transportation integration along a two-mile-wide corridor in Leavenworth County. The study is a cooperative effort between the cities of Basehor and Tonganoxie, Leavenworth County, the Kansas Department of Transportation, and the Mid-America Regional Council.
